Jean-Christian Heintz has a 25-year technical and commercial experience in Natural Gas and LNG. A seasoned LNG business developer, he started with Paris-based Engie - formerly known as GDF Suez - where he held various trading and contract management roles at a global level. He was then successively appointed as Head of LNG at DXT Commodities (2013), SCB Brokers (2019) and more recently Alpiq (2020), each time building desks from scratch.
In 2017-2018, and again since 2022, Jean-Christian has been active as an independent advisor for numerous customers ranging from new entrants to industrials and utilities. He is well known on the social media for his insightful views and his weekly digest "LNG espresso" which is now in its 8th season.
Jean-Christian holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne.
