Hamead Ahrary is Director Hydrogen at VERBUND AG since January 2022. He is responsible for the development and implementation of VERBUND´s hydrogen strategy.
Hamead Ahrary has successfully been holding several leadership positions within the European energy industry for almost 20 years. His field of expertise is based on experience in natural gas markets, marketing & sales, trading, as well as business and market development.
Before VERBUND Hamead Ahrary was responsible for the European activities of WINGAS.
Hamead Ahrary graduated in business administration at the University of Essen.
