Marco Furtado is a professional with 12 years of experience in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Green Hydrogen (GH2), currently at Siemens Smart Infrastructure. He has recently been appointed as part of the Future Energy Leaders Portugal.
Marco has played a pivotal role in the successful execution of BESS projects in Terceira, São Miguel, Azores.
He started his career by contributing to the implementation of the Graciosa project while working at Younicos.
