Pedro C. Filipe has over 20 years of experience in the mobility sector. Currently, as the Mobility Business Manager at MotaEngil Renewing (ME-Renewing), he is dedicated to accelerating electric vehicle (EV) adoption at the cleantech startup of the MotaEngilGroup. At ME-Renewing, Pedro supports companies in transitioning to electric mobility by offering comprehensive solutions, including renewable energy installations, EV chargers, and vehicle-as-a-service options.
Previously, Pedro contributed to shaping public policy for EV charging network expansion and adoption while working at the Cabinet of the Portuguese Secretary of State for Mobility. He began his career in the automotive industry with Ford and Volkswagen and later worked with boutique consultancy firms and innovation clusters specializing in mobility.
An Industrial Engineer and Logistics MSc by training, Pedro has extensive experience in technology innovation and strategy, as well as coordinating stakeholders' networks and project partners on international missions related to mobility decarbonization. Notable initiatives include the Transport Decarbonisation Alliance (TDA) and contributions to the MoU for Zero Emissions Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles.
Passionate about the potential of transport decarbonization, Pedro believes it is technologically feasible, economically viable, and beneficial for both society and the environment. His work at ME-Renewing reflects this dedication, driving the energy transition in the transport sector and striving to make a significant difference in promoting sustainable and decarbonized mobility.
