Álvaro De Miguel

BIO

Álvaro possesses a decade of experience in the energy sector, currently leading RWE’s offshore wind development efforts in Portugal. He has previously held various positions within the offshore wind sector at large energy companies, including overseeing country development activities, managing international offshore wind mergers and acquisitions in multiple global jurisdictions, and handling the financial aspects of several offshore wind bids. Álvaro has also worked as consultant on energy projects for the World Bank and the OECD. Álvaro holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, an industrial engineering degree from Politécnica de Madrid, and a master's degree in public policy from the Paris School of Economics.
