Filipe Silva is CEO of Galp Energia and he was Galp’s CFO from 2012-2022.
Prior to joining Galp, Filipe was head of Deutsche Bank´s Investment Banking Coverage and Advisory business for Portugal. He joined in 1999 as a member of the DB Portugal Executive Committee and became its CEO / CCO in 2008. Filipe has a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Financial Management (1986) and a Master’s degree in Financial Management (1988) from the Catholic University of America in Washington DC.
