Holds Bachelors, Licentiate and Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Porto’s Polytechnical - Instituto Superior de Engenharia.
Worked in the IT, Software and IT infrastructure management in Telcos, Banking and Bosch.
Over 18 years of renewable industry, at Vestas, Repower and Senvion having designed, planned and implemented the first wind farms in Chile and Uruguay, leading also sales activities
João has taught IT at Aveiro University.
Currently Voltalia’s group Chief Technology Officer and Portugal’s Country Manager
