João Manso Neto is a well-known manager in the energy sector. In 2021 he assumed the executive presidency of Greenvolt, an energy company operating in three different segments: biomass, wind & solar utility-scale, and distributed generation.

With a degree in Economics from Instituto Superior de Economia, with a postgraduate degree in European Economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, João Manso Neto has been in the energy sector since 2003, after spending 21 years in Banking, specifically at BCP in Portugal and Poland.

Before assuming Greenvolt, João Manso Neto was a member of the Board of Directors of EDP Group between 2006 and 2021 and CEO of EDP Renewables from 2012 until 2021.
