João Rosa Santos

BIO

João joined REGA ENERGY in 2022, as Head of Business Development, after more than 25 years in the utilities sector.

REGA ENERGY is a producer and distributer of renewable gases, based in Portugal and aims to help heavy industry to decarbonize through green hydrogen, green oxygen and biomethane, whenever electrification is not an option.

João has been working in the energy sector for more than two decades, working at companies such as EDP and Naturgas.

At EDP, he was a Managing Director for Operations of Energy Efficiency Services and progressed to become a Managing Director for B2B Operations.  

João has extensive experience in B2B operations, business support, energy efficiency services and commercial management.

He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra in Portugal.
