Mona Bhagat is Business Development Director - Energy Transition at KBR Consulting International which is part of the KBR Sustainable technology solutions business. She has over 25 years international oil and gas, energy transition and LNG experience. This includes 5 years working within energy transition in a leadership role and 20 years of international oil and gas experience working for both E&P and engineering companies throughout the EMEA region.

In her current role, Mona drives strategic energy transition initiatives for new energy clients and governments in developing their energy transition roadmap hereby providing consulting and advisory services to clients across APAC, EMEA and globally. Her focus over the last 5+ years being Energy Transition markets, originating deals and strategic energy advisory consulting across existing major energy supply chains and governments.

Mona is responsible globally for the consulting business development activities with a focus on energy transition, supply chain, renewables and emerging energy technology markets, specifically around Green/Blue Ammonia and Green/Blue Hydrogen production. Focussed on all aspects of energy supply chain development and optimisation, globally. 

Mona specialises in strategy and business development in energy and infrastructure and brings several years of experience with leading energy clients globally. She has a strategic view across the entire value chain and the lifecycle of energy developments, specifically with respect to Energy Transition projects like CCUS and hydrogen.

Mona is also a Subject Matter Expert for CCUS in KBR’s group wide directory of technical authorities, a presenter at conferences, and author of articles and papers.

Mona has a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical & Process Engineering , is the Deputy Chair of IChemE Energy Community of Practice Leadership Group and is a member of the Gastech Conference Governing Body,
