Tércio Masseque is the Vice President of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) for TotalEnergies Mozambique, the operator of Mozambique LNG Project, with over two decades of practical experience, spanning from Aluminum Smelter, Utilities, Coal Mining and Processing, and Oil and Gas.
His ability to tacitly embed HSE at the core of every operation or project he has been involved, and to enthusiastically lead the transformation of Organizational Safety and Sustainability culture, has made him one of the most prominent HSE professionals in Mozambique.
As part of Mozambique LNG Project Socio-Economic Development program, he is spearheading several initiatives to protect and promote terrestrial and marine biodiversity, through the implementation of restoration programs, support of local conservation projects, and promotion of sustainable use of natural resources.
He has strong belief that mobilization to action for biodiversity preservation, must prioritize the active participation of local communities, with the support from stakeholders such as authorities, academic institutions, and corporations.
