Martyn Link

Executive Director Resilience First

BIO

Martyn is an experienced strategic leader, passionate about enabling organisations to prepare for, and adapt to, the biggest challenges of our time. He leads LAS, a strategic advisory practice advising corporates on the energy transition, climate adaptation and organizational resilience.

Martyn recently led the world’s largest business resilience network, Resilience First, the business-focused arm of Resilience Rising, a global platform working together to accelerate a resilient and sustainable future for all. Prior to this Martyn spent 11 years at the engineering giant Wood Plc, where he was responsible for corporate strategy, organisational design and leading the pivot towards the energy transition.

Martyn is a scientist by training and has two degrees from Edinburgh University and is currently completing an Executive MBA. He started his career as a Principal Analyst with Wood Mackenzie where he focused on the biotech industry.

Martyn is an experienced speaker and moderator, including speaking on topics related to energy transition, business resilience and climate adapation at the BNEF London Summit, Reuters Impact, Offshore Europe, the Institute of Directors Global Conference and the UK Export Finance Annual Conference, among many others.
